GreenTech Alliance and Plan A are excited to launch 'Meet The Giants', our new series of events dedicated to sustainability and the corporate world. During 2020 we started working with, and learning from, some of the world's most inspiring corporates who are leading the path towards sustainability. We think we owe our community the chance to learn from them.
For our first talk, join Christian Leffin, Strategic Customer Advisor for the Office of the CEO at Salesforce and Patrick Flynn, VP of Sustainability at Salesforce, for a fireside chat about the importance of large corporations in leading the path towards a carbon-neutral economy, and reaching the United Nation goals of 2030.
Although large companies have the most significant environmental impact, the opportunity for them to change the world we live in is also more significant. Some of these large companies have taken on the challenge of sustainability.
In partnership with Plan A, GreenTech Alliance is proudly hosting this event series to help each participant be part of that sustainable change and understand how business leaders think about sustainability, manage increasing stakeholder awareness, and mounting regulatory pressure.
A note about our first 'Giant'
Salesforce is the world's # 1 customer relationship management (CRM) software. The company, founded in 1999, has been focusing on sustainability for many years now. Salesforce featured on Barron's Most Sustainable Companies list last year, and have developed their own Salesforce Sustainability Cloud Product on top of their existing software universe. They have also committed to planting 100 Million Trees with Plant-for-the-Planet.
